Summary
The Colonial Sugar Refining Co Ltd was founded in 1855 by Sir Edward Knox . Formed as a reconstruction of the defunct Australasian Sugar Company which had been formed in 1842. The company became a public company in 1887 when it was reregistered in New South Wales.
