Summary
Established in 1916 when the Government Savings Bank of Queensland changed it's name. In addition the bank took over the business of the Queensland Workers Dwellings Board and the Agricultural Bank of Queensland from 1 January 1917.
In 1920 the bank amalgamated with the Commonwealth Bank of Australia.
