Summary
The Business Archives Council of Australia was formed in. Its objectives were to promote the study of business history; to encourage owners to preserve business records; to encourage historians to use these research sources; to provide skilled assistance and advice to owners of records in the use and deposit of business records; to produce suitable publications.
The Council had two branches, New Siouth Wales and Victoria. It is unknown if records oif the New South Wales Branch survive.
