Summary
Formed in 1948 by the governments of Australia (50% interest), New Zealand (30% interest) and the United Kingdom (20% interest) to conduct trans-pacific flights. The Company was dissolved in 1954 when Qantas Empire Airways started trans-Pacific flights.
